Cabo San Lucas lies at the southernmost tip of the Baja California peninsula. This unique geographic location places it right where the mighty Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortez. The meeting of these two bodies of water creates an incredible environment for diving boasting thousands of species of invertebrates, over 900 species of fish, and a multitude of marine mammals. Throughout the year we are blessed with the migrations of multiple shark species, humpback whales, bait balls, and acrobatic mobula rays.
At Dive Ninjas we recognize people want more than the traditional bog standard dive package. Ready to explore the Cabo San Lucas Marine Park, but don’t have much time? This mini package is the perfect option for those with only 1 or 2 days and gives you an awesome taste of the local marine reserve. Ocean Protector Mini Expedition
Learn about and experience firsthand the biodiversity of Cabo San Lucas as well as the challenges our oceans currently face. This mini expedition kicks off with a Project AWARE marine conservation course introducing you to the global movement for ocean protection and showing you how you can get involved. From there we go for 2 dives in the Cabo San Lucas marine reserve and then wrap up the expedition encountering amazing, oceanic wildlife on a Pelagic Safari or blue water shark diving tour. This is your opportunity to give some of yourself back to nature and help protect our oceans. Join us in action and education, and become a member of the Dive Ninja Ocean Warriors family!

Ocean Guardian Mini Conservation Expedition
Get involved in our local conservation efforts! Learn while you help protect & restore the special ecosystem around Cabo San Lucas. Join your Team Ninja instructor to learn how to make a difference on every dive you take. Gain the knowledge and skills to activate your inner citizen scientist and complete Dive Against Debris® surveys, as you head out into the marine park for 2 dives collecting plastic and other debris that have found their way into our ocean. Then go celebrate your great work with 2 fun dives in the marine park or the corridor. Then get ready to encounter incredible oceanic wildlife on either a Pelagic Safari or blue water shark diving tour. Imagine heading out to the mountains and then taking a short hike along a gorgeous canyon to a secret desert oasis. Your guide leads you through a morning relaxation & stretching session at the waters edge before getting in to the natural mountain spring to practice freediving in a desert oasis complete with a small waterfall. Then finish the day off at a natural hot spring in the mountains before heading back into town.
